The Dynamics timer And Calculator is a Microcontroller based device designed for use in schools by pupils to make easy and accurate measurements of time, speed, acceleration, period, rotation speed and rotational acceleration.
The product range includes various types of light gates, contact switches and vibration senors so far.
The DAC is designed to be highly flexible and take accurate measurements for a wide range of experiments across the curriculum. The rotational motion modes also have built in data analysis software including averaging or linear regression estimates.
Combo 1 - Track set includes a DAC with USB-C charging cable, two smaller track mounted light gates, a pair of masks suitable for pasco carts that also carry load masses, 1 track endstop with low friction pulley, g by freefall strike plate and g by freefall release clip.
Combo 2 - Track set includes a DAC with USB-C charging cable, two larger self standing or clamp stand mountable light gates, a pair of masks suitable for pasco carts that also carry load masses, g by freefall strike plate and g by freefall release clip. Please get in touch if you’d like the masks to be made to a custom size (within reason).
