Marble Run

Sale Price:£25.00 Original Price:£40.00
sale

This hand made hard wood marble run features a 2 m long track in a compact area that fits comfortable in a standard tray. The gentle slope of the rails maximises the run time of the maze to around 10 seconds.

There are several ways this can be used:

  • The youngest pupils can measure the time for a ball to complele the maze as part of a set of measurment stations.

  • A teacher led class discussion around measuring the speed of different ball bearings.

  • To plant the thinking seeds of measurment uncertainty and averaging (across pupils).
